Our History

Nestled at 3431 West Peterson in Chicago, you’ll find Martino’s, whose dishes transport you to a quaint town in Sicily. The owners emigrated to the United States from a seaside province near Palermo and brought with them their ancestral recipes for tantalizing homemade sauces such as marinara and tomato-basil, among other recipes.

Most of our dishes are authentic to the southern region of Italy. We also have American options as well, such as our succulent, homemade deep-fried chicken, which rivals any southern U.S. recipe. Our pizza is the epitome of a Chicago pizza. We offer thin crust, calzone, stuffed, and pan pizzas. The options are endless at Martino’s. From vegetarian entrees to veal, you’ll find what you’re craving.

We’ve been a Chicago staple since our doors first opened in 1967. For over 50 years, we have taken great pride in creating a Martino’s culture that unites family and friends over a great meal. Our customers have been very loyal to us throughout the decades. From dining at Martino’s on their first date in the 1960s to celebrating their grandchild’s birthday in our dining room in 2020. Our family has always been there and we wish to welcome new customers with the same care and consistency.

Entice your palate and warm your heart with a meal from Martino’s.
